Located in the heart of downtown Meadville, McClure's Fish House & More is a purveyor of great casual dining by Meadville native, Maurice McClure.

Maurice McClure was born and raised in Meadville, graduating from Meadville High School in ‘89. His family is well known all around the community. He is the youngest of 9 children.

From a young age, Maurice always loved the idea of owning a business. Before the concept of McClure’s Fish House & More was conceived, he thought about opening a sports bar, landscaping business or even a retail storefront. He then realized the idea was right in front of him the entire time. “My best friend from high school owns a fish restaurant in Erie, and I thought why don’t I open something similar here. Meadville needs a good fish house with a nice hometown feel,” said McClure. Maurice has always felt very motivated and driven to own a business and believes that customer service is very important.

McClure’s Fish House & More will be opening in 2019 and is located on Park Avenue in Meadville. McClure’s is one of four recipients that received Meadville’s first EAGR Grant that helps with revitalizing downtown.

“We want to welcome everyone to come on down to try our big fish and whole wings”, said Maurice. “We couldn’t be where we are today without all of the community’s support. So thank you all!”
